During 2010, HBS ’87 classmates Corinne Nevinny, Margot Sherr Shapiro and Linda Greub founded LMN Ventures to provide seed financing and business support to entrepreneurs who are focused on LifeQ - clean, green, health, wellness, fitness and education-oriented businesses businesses that improve the quality of life. During the past several years, Corinne, Margot and Linda have come to realize that women entrepreneurs face some unique dynamics, advantages and challenges, not the least of which is that, according to Dow Jones VentureSource, less than 5% of venture capital funding goes to female CEOs.
